What you need

cup granulated sugar

egg nog

tsp vanilla extract

cup all purpose flour
tbsp cornstarch

tsp cream of tartar

tsp baking soda

tsp salt

tbsp cinnamon
Instructions
0 Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. 1 In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream the butter and granulated sugar until combined and fluffy. Scrape the bowl well, then add the eggs one at a time and vanilla with the mixer on low speed. Mix until well combined. 2 Scrape the bowl again and add the flour, cornstarch, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Mix until all the ingredients are well incorporated. 3 In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon for the coating. Portion the dough using a #24 cookie scoop (about 3 Tablespoons). Roll each scoop into a ball, then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture until completely coated. 4 Place the cookies onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them at least 2 inches apart. 5 Bake at 350°F for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown around the edges. 6 Sprinkle the cookies with the remaining cinnamon sugar while hot, if desired. Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes and enjoy!View original recipe
